Product Introduction
The Gatsby X was designed for the baby boomer market as a recreational mobility scooter to evoke the antique Model-T automobile, which the design of the scooter is reminiscent of.
The first production Model T left the factory on September 27, 1908. Now, over 100 years in the future, the Model T’s spirit has returned to revitalize the world of electric vehicles. The Gatsby is an eye-catching recreational mobility scooter that lives up to the Model T's thoroughbred reputation and the most popular car of The Roaring Twenties.
Gatsby's maximum forward speed is 10 mph, and the maximum reverse speed is 4 mph. The large wheels let the user drive on unpaved roads, over moderately rough terrain, and over obstacles as high as 2 inches. This scooter can also climb slopes with angles of the maximum safe slope of 8º (14 %).
The braking system stops the scooter smoothly and within a short distance after the throttle control lever is released. A handbrake is also available for additional security.
Gatsby X is equipped with both front and rear shock absorbers to give the user a comfortable and smooth drive, even when using the vehicle on moderately rough roads.
