Fast Mobility Scooters

Which mobility scooters go the fastest?

The fastest scooters we have in stock are Bespoke's five: the Elite, Legacy, Platinum, Prestige and Supreme. Bespoke lists each at a top speed of 15 mph and up to 35 miles per charge.

A switch on each one sets 4, 8 or 15 mph. Next fastest here are Afikim's Afiscooters, at up to 9.3 mph by Afikim's website. Every scooter we compare below weighs over 200 lbs with its batteries.

Where a maker's own documents disagree, we show the lower capacity, range and top speed and the heavier weight. Afikim, for example, gives 440, 450 and 500 lbs for the S4, so we show 440.

None of these is a travel scooter, and none of their makers lists the batteries for flights.

Which one suits you

  • Bespoke scooters: the most speed and range we carry. The Legacy is the lightest of the five at 234 lbs and turns in 51.2 in, the same as the Elite. The Prestige has a captain's seat with a headrest but needs 90.6 in to turn, and the Platinum 86.6 in, so neither is for tight indoor turns. The Supreme seats two. Bespoke's manuals advise against slopes steeper than 10 degrees.
  • Afiscooters: slower, and the heaviest scooters here at 268 to 364 lbs with batteries. The S4 carries 440 lbs and offers a 33 in dual seat, and the 3-wheel S3 turns in 56 in.
  • Gladiator: comes apart for transport, and its heaviest piece is the 79 lb front section. Top speed 7.5 mph.
  • Shoprider Expedition XL4, Excursion and Explorer: 6.2 to 6.8 mph. The Excursion carries the most at 496 lbs, but Shoprider's manual lowers its safe slope as rider weight goes up, down to level ground only near 500 lbs.

The Gatsby X, a vintage-style scooter, is in this collection too. Its maker hasn't published specifications for it, so it isn't in the table. Please email us at bestpowerwheelchair@gmail.com before ordering one, and ask about delivery to your area.

Before you order

Apart from the Gatsby X, these scooters usually ship in 3 to 5 business days, with free shipping to the lower 48 states, Washington DC and Canada. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Afiscooters and the Gladiator can't be returned under our return policy.

Figures from each maker's published specs (Bespoke, Afikim, Discover Your Mobility and Shoprider owner's manuals, spec sheets and product pages), checked November 2026.
